We are delighted to report that Dr Jonathan Savage, Managing Director of UCan Play and Chair of Trustees of the Love Music Trust, will be participating in the RNCM’s music education conference, Pathways to Progression, on Friday 28th June.

This event will take the opportunity to reconsider how we, as music educators, can support our young learners through transition points on their musical journeys and to help them overcome barriers to be the best possible musicians at every stage in their school life and beyond.

Later in the day there will be choice of breakout sessions and Dr Savage will contributing to a panel event exploring the decline in the teaching of A Level Music and looking at how this might be reversed.

Delegates will have choice of a range of interactive breakout sessions including: Topical discussion and debate led by leading practitioners: transitioning from primary to secondary school; addressing the decline of GCSE and A level Music.
