Boss are celebrating their 40th anniversary in style with a ten-day exhibition held at House of Vans in London. Running from 9th -17th September, the Cause & Effects exhibition is a unique celebration that will offer discerning guitarists a once-in-a-lifetime chance to experience forty years of guitar innovations. If you happen to be near London at any point during that period this would be well worth a visit.
House of Vans is one of central London’s most creative and eclectic venues, having hosted performances from Metallica, Foo Fighters, Bring Me The Horizon, Public Enemy and many more. Visitors will encounter pristine tape echo units from the ‘70s, first-issue pedals, rare guitar synthesizers from the ‘80s, collectable memorabilia and insider stories, along with enough oddities and special editions to satisfy even the most diehard gear nerd. There will also be hands-on areas with variations of all 119 iconic BOSS compact pedals gathered from friends, collectors, artists, museums, dusty cupboards and studios from all over the planet.
There will also be a new product launch day. At 8am (BST) on the Friday 8th September Boss will unveil a series of new products to the world. There will also be an unforgettable night of live music. On the night of Saturday 9th is ‘The Main Event’, with an exciting four band line-up including This Will Destroy You, Tera Melos, Dorje and Poly-Math.
There is also a program of exciting music-orientated events and interactive workshops will run alongside the exhibition – all free to the public, including a hands-on demo area of the latest and greatest BOSS gear, including a few rarities that can be played. Workshop spaces are limited and you’ll need to reserve a place.
The good news is that all of this is FREE! But, you must reserve your tickets at the House of Vans website.
