UCan Play Announce Publication of INTERFACE:RESPONSE: A free training and mentoring programme for musicians impacted by COVID-19
UCan Play is pleased to announce the publication of INTERFACE:RESPONSE, a new set of training materials and accompanying mentoring programme for musicians whose work has been negatively impacted by COVID-19.
Funded by Innovate UK, and working in partnership with the Musicians’ Union and NYMAZ, UCan Play have produced a range of training materials to help musicians build their digital skills in key areas including rehearsal, performance and teaching online. All the resources are freely available at www.interfaceresponse.com. Written by musicians who are experienced at working online, these resources are designed to assist musicians build their digital knowledge and skills, helping them relocate their work online given the current restrictions.
Alongside the training materials, a team of experienced mentors have been recruited and are available to support musicians in the development of their digital skills. All mentoring is offered free of charge to those within the United Kingdom. Details about the mentoring scheme can be found here: https://interfaceresponse.com/mentorships.php.
INTERFACE:RESPONSE runs from the 1st October 2020 to the 31st December 2020. During this period, mentors will be running live sessions exploring key areas of musicians’ work online. Please visit www.interfaceresponse.com for details of these sessions over the coming months.
